The economy's not in great shape right now, and if money isn't already tight where you work, it seems wise to at least anticipate that possibility. So businesses looking to save a little cash should be happy to hear that sales-i "has boosted its sales intelligence service by adding some key CRM functionality."
Thanks to this move, some small and mid-sized businesses are supposed to be able to get by without shelling out for full CRM solutions. "We are delighted to be able to 'bridge that gap' for some of our customers with our embedded CRM-light," sales-i said in a statement.
As for what should happen as a result, "[W]e can help our customers to get on with the business of increasing sales and their share of the customer wallet," the company continued. Which sounds nice and desirable.
sales-i isn't forcing anyone to experiment with ill-fitting ideas, however. If businesses want or need to adopt full CRM solutions, they'll be glad to know that sales-i products remain compatible with all the standard offerings from Salesforce, Netsuite, and Microsoft, among other companies.
It's always nice to have extra options like these, and especially handy when saving money is a necessity.
