Customer relationship management firm Salesforce.com, has introduced Contact Manager Edition, an application aimed at businesses with one or two employees.

Contact Manager is available for $9 per user, pre month. It allows users to store and manage all their contacts and accounts in the cloud for anytime access.

Other features of contact manager include tracking of email from Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo or any email system offering a record of customer interactions.

A reporting feature runs pre-configured and customized reports on contacts, accounts and associated activities to gain insight.

Contact Manager can be customized to track data that is most important to the user. It also integrates with Google Apps, combining applications for productivity (email, calendaring, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, instant messaging, video) and CRM.

"Salesforce.com has always been committed to democratizing software and making cloud computing accessible to businesses of all sizes," said Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of salesforce.com.

"Contact Manager Edition opens up a whole new world for very small businesses and individuals, empowering them to experience success with cloud computing."
