Castle CRM, Sage Take Cloud Computing Forward

As the benefits of cloud computing become more and more obvious - and as more and more time passes without any catastrophes occurring - this method of distributing loads is growing increasingly popular. And today, Sage North America, Castle CRM, and one other company gave it a few more votes of confidence.

Castle CRM has added a cloud version of Sage SalesLogix to its lineup of CRM offerings. A press release then explained, "Castle CRM . . . has deployed an initial phase Sage SalesLogix cloud implementation for M. Frank Higgins and Co., Inc.," which deals in commercial flooring.

Everything's looking quite good so far. Security concerns have been addressed so that private data doesn't make its way into the open or even get shared with other companies using the same cloud solution. The costs of cloud computing are also proving lower than the alternative of keeping a bunch of hardware and IT experts on site.

Tony Castle, the CEO of Castle CRM, said in a statement, "The Sage SalesLogix cloud computing and Castle CRM value propositions both focus on customer benefits not vendor conveniences. Data security is paramount for our customers because they will not risk co-mingling their data with a vendor's other client data. Our customers want secure, flexible options and this is what Sage allows us to offer."

Success on this scale will likely lead to a more widespread use of cloud computing solutions in the CRM industry.
