Nimble Releases Social CRM Product In Beta

The social CRM space, which is by all accounts benefiting from a rapid increase in demand, is now home to another new product. Nimble Contact, which integrates Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter contacts (among others), has been released in public beta.
Jon Ferrara, the CEO of Nimble, thinks this solution meets a real need. Nimble's pitching it as the only thing that integrates calendars, collaboration, communications, and contacts ("the 4 Cs") for the sake of helping professionals manage their ties to associates.
Ferrara also reasoned in a statement, "The problem today is our contacts and our communications are in too many places. Between IM, text messaging, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Skype and email, we can't keep track of it all. Trying to manage all of this in eight different tabs on your browser isn't the solution. We created Nimble to solve our own needs and we're bringing it to the world to help small businesses solve theirs."
The world appears receptive so far. Author Paul Greenberg, Gerhard Gschwandtner of Selling Power Magazine, Matt Marshall of DEMO, and Mary Wardley of IDC have all applauded Nimble in recent weeks, giving it awards and/or lending their names to promotional material.
Product upgrades are sure to occur in the next few months, too, as the beta is fine-tuned and makes its way towards being a finished product.
Nimble Contact is free and available through Nimble's site now in the event anyone's interested in giving it a try.
