MicroStrategy CRM

Sonic Automotive announced that they will be using MicroStrategy's iPad app. Sonic's dealerships will be using the app for financial, marketing, and operations information. As a Heath Byrd, a VP at Sonic, states, "Mobility and business intelligence are two of our top strategic priorities."

The application is designed to allow users to have reports, charts, and other information on demand to inform better decisions on the ground. The application uses AES encryption and is very secure. It comes with dummy data to get a feel for what all is involved in the application and how it works. PC Magazine made a review about MicroStrategy's product a number of years ago. The fact that it is still around and growing lends credibility to the usefulness of their product.

Back then PC Magazine noted that it was very simple. It recently made a move to offer their service for free. Yet, in all this, it appears the company has good rapport with its clients based on the fact that there's been no bad publicity. That is often a sign of a good product highlighted by the fact that it is listed in the Top 10 Business Intelligence Software. The company's move towards mobile applications and social media integration should prove beneficial for them and their clients in our increasingly online world.
